Our Executive Director, Donna Bradley, MSW, graduated from Tulane University with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1980.
Donna has worked in family and children's services her entire career. She has counseled families and children for over twenty-six years.
She has experienced the full circle of adoption, both personally and professionally. Donna began her career in adoption by counseling birth
mothers as they faced their adoption decisions. She has worked with the educational, counseling, and home study process for over twelve years.
Donna and her husband, David, have five children. She has one stepson who is finishing college, two biological teenage sons, and two adopted
daughters who are now eleven and seven years of age. In addition to her own personal experience with adoption, Donna has extensive training
related to child development, family dynamics and adoption related issues.
Phil Boyd, MSW, received his Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1976. Phil has worked with individuals,
families, and children in the mental health field his entire career. He began his work in adoptions soon after the adoption of his oldest
daughter, seven years ago. Phil and his wife have two adopted daughters who are now seven and five years old.
Jeanne M. Greenwald, M.A. is married and the mother of three children adopted from two different countries. In addition to her own children,
Jeanne has many extended family members who came to the family by adoption. Jeanne has a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and
a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Wayne State University in Michigan. She has worked with
children with emotional challenges, and their parents. She has had a special interest in adoption during her career and has attended many
conferences and professional trainings that highlight the needs of the adopted person / family. Jeanne has worked as an adoption provider in
the state of Florida families for three years.
Efrat Horwitz, MSW, graduated from The Ohio State University (1999) with a BSSW and a minor in Family Relations and Human Development. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 2005. Efrat has worked with all ranges from newborn to 94 years of age during her career. Efrat has been involved in family and children services for over eight years. She has worked with foster children/families, foster care adoptions and counseling. She has been doing International Adoptions for over 5 years. Efrat lives in Miami with her husband and two sons. Efrat has a passion for adoption and shows a high commitment to the families she works with.
